How to connect the ARION pods?
First, prepare the running shoes of the customer. Place the insoles underneath the existing insoles of the running shoes. Next, make sure that the pods are charged to be able to carry out the gait analysis. Attach the pods to the insoles, according to the video below. When they turn blue you are ready to connect the pods to the ARIONHUB app.
Note: Keep the ARION pods connected to the ARION Smart Insoles during a running analysis with a customer. When switching shoes, remove the ARION Smart Insoles with the ARION pods connected to them and place them in the next pair of shoes. If the ARION pods disconnect with the ARIONHUB app, the app needs to search for the ARION pods again.
Connecting the pods
Open the ARIONHUB app, click on discover or swipe down to where you can find the instructions. Because you are about to measure the customer, you need to ask for consent to use their data. After the customer has given their consent, the customer will be asked to fill in any type of injury, and some additional generic information. After accepting the terms of service and privacy policy, you’re ready to select the running shoes that the customer is going to run in either via, scanning or selecting from the list.
When you have selected the running shoes that the customer will try on during the analysis, the next screen will allow you to connect the ARION pods. Simply follow the instructions, insert (the insoles), attach (the pods), and connect (with the ARIONHUB app). Make sure that Bluetooth and internet are enabled to find the ARION pods. When the ARION pods are attached to the ARION Smart Insoles, but they are not connected to the ARIONHUB app whilst Bluetooth is enabled, the app will search for the pods saying: Scanning…
If one of the ARION pods is connected to the ARIONHUB app, the app will mention which ARION Smart Insole is connected (left or right foot) down below with the message left/right pod detected. If both ARION pods are detected by the ARIONHUB app, the message 2 pods detected and the live pressure map will appear.
When both ARION pods are detected, the live pressure map will appear on the screen of the ARIONHUB app. If you want to do a video & performance analysis, the live pressure map will appear on the bottom right of the screen. If you want to do a performance-only analysis, the live pressure map will appear big in the middle of the screen. If you want to do a video-only analysis, there will be no live pressure map available because there are no ARION pods and ARION Smart Insoles required for this analysis type.
To make sure the ARION Smart Insoles and ARION pods are working, you can always ask the customer to move around from their heels to their toes to show the live pressure.

Colours of the pods
Blue: When the ARION pod is attached to the insoles, the pod will turn light blue and when successfully connected, dark blue.
Green: When the ARION pod is successfully connected to the ARIONHUB app, ready to start a gait analysis, the pod will turn green.
If the pod is attached to the charger, the pods will turn green when the pods are fully charged.
Orange: When you have the pods attached to the charger and the pods are showing an orange colour, this means that the pods are currently charging.
If the pod turns orange when connected to the ARION Smart Insole, try detaching and reattaching the pod to reconnect.
Red: If the ARION pod is attached to the charger and shows a red colour, this means that the pod is not being charged at the moment. Detach the pod from the charger and make sure the contact pins on the back of the charger are clean and that none of the pins are stuck inside the pod. If the pod keeps flashing red, try reading our troubleshooting article on the ARION pod.
Note: the employee account will not give access to the ARIONHUB admin dashboard. Only the admin dashboard owner account will be able to log in to the online platform.
