Electronic Engineer

Job description

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a skilled and dynamic Senior ELECTRONIC ENGINEER who feels passionate about keeping abreast with cutting-edge technologies.

Your challenge:

  • Responsible for contributing to, and executing Arion’s strategic technology roadmap
  • Responsible for the firmware and hardware development, certification and the associated supply chain together with our key suppliers and partners.
  • You have influence upon technology budget and timelines including identification of new partners and suppliers, recruitment and team growth
  • Intrinsically motivated to actively stay up to date with leading edge technologies in the consumer and wearable tech sectors, and relevant local and global development communities
  • Collaboration within a multi-disciplinary, multi-national team of about 20 developers and designers over multiple product lines.

Your talent:

  • Background in, or experience with, electronic engineering and embedded systems engineering
  • Experience with product development (translating user requirements into specifications, design and documentation) mainly on IOT wearable devices
  • Knowledge and/or experience with electronics certification process (e.g. CE marking / FFC marking)
  • Affinity with analog electronics development including mixed signal circuits, low voltage and low power electronic design, and battery management
  • Affinity with bare metal firmware development on ARM based microcontroller including experience with serial interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C) and wireless connectivity (mainly Bluetooth Low Energy)
  • Experience with outsourcing, supplier selection and contracting
  • Experience working in customer facing / commercial product focused companies
  • Affinity with entrepreneurship and/or interest in start-up/scale-up opportunities
