My ARION footpods are not working

Learn what to do if your footpods are not showing lights, are not charging, or are not connecting with the ARIONHUB app.

Verify Bluetooth and Internet

Step 1 – Enable Bluetooth

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth and verify if Bluetooth is enabled. You can also open the quick access menu to enable Bluetooth

Step 2 – Check the ARIONHUB app permissions

  • Go into Settings > Apps > ARIONHUB and verify Bluetooth access is allowed

Step 3 – Verify ARION footpod connection

  • If the ARION footpods were connected before, check if the ARION footpods are recognized by the iPad
  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth > My Devices and look for the ARION footpods in the list
    • If the ARION footpods are not listed, Bluetooth permissions for the ARIONHUB app may not have been accepted
    • If the previous steps did not resolve the issue, you can choose to ”Forget” the ARION footpods from the device list to reset the connection. This will trigger the Bluetooth permission prompt again in the ARIONHUB app

    Note: the ARION footpods are interchangeable (can be used on both sides)

Step 4 – Verify the Bluetooth range 

Bluetooth typically works within a range of 30-40 meters

  • If the ARION footpods go out of range, the ARIONHUB app will display a notification
  • Once the ARION footpods are back within range, they will reconnect automatically, and you can continue and finish the analysis

    ARION footpods and ARION Smart Insole connection

    Step 1 – Verify the status light

    • Check the LED indicators on the ARION footpod when attached to an ARION Smart Insole
      • Blue: Connected to an ARION Smart Insole
      • Green: Connected with the ARIONHUB app
      • Orange: Detach and reattach the ARION footpod
      • Red: Detach and reattach the ARION footpod

    If the issue persists, place it on the charger for up to 5 minutes, then reconnect it to the ARION Smart Insole.

    Note: During the connection of the ARION footpods to the ARION Smart Insoles, the LED will transition from Light Blue > Dark Blue > Green, indicating a successful connection.

    Step 2 – My ARION footpods are blue, but not visible in the ARIONHUB app

    If your ARION footpods are connected to your ARION Smart Insoles, connection issues can sometimes be resolved by reconnecting the ARION footpods:

    • Remove the ARION footpods from the insoles
    • Wait a few seconds
    • Reattach them securely
    • Click ‘scan again’

    If not resolved, try switching the ARION footpods between the left and right ARION Smart Insoles.

    Step 3 – Inspect the contact pins

    Check the contact pins on the ARION footpods and the ARION Smart Insoles:

    • Ensure all pins are clean and not stuck inside the ARION footpod
    • If a pin is stuck, please contact support for further instructions

    If there is dirt present:

    • Gently clean the contact pins using a dry cloth

    ARION footpods charging

    Step 1 – Verify battery and status light

    • We recommend connecting the ARION footpods to the charging unit using a plug or socket
    • Check the LED indicators on the ARION footpod when on the charger
      • Orange: Charging
      • Green: Fully charged
      • Red: Detach and reattach the ARION footpod

    Step 2 – Verify if the ARION footpods are charging

    • Make sure the charging cable and power block are working
      • Verify this by plugging the charging cable into another device to see if it is charging
      • Verify this by plugging the power block into another plug/socket
    • A battery indicator is also visible on the Connect Screen when the ARION footpods are attached. Verify if the charging worked and if the battery indicator is increasing in the ARIONHUB app

    Additional tips

    • We recommend charging the ARION footpods for a maximum of 4 hours
    • Detach the ARION footpods from the ARION Smart Insoles after use to prevent battery drain
    • Reduce the number of nearby Bluetooth devices. Make sure not to have other Bluetooth devices connected to your iPad (smartwatch, headphones, keyboards etc.)
