To get started with ARIONHUB, first select the Apple device you’ll be using for measurements. Currently, ARIONHUB is only available on iPads.
Click the button below to download the ARIONHUB app onto your iPad. This app will allow you to connect your insoles and begin a gait analysis session. Your ARIONHUB login details will be sent to your email, and you can use these credentials to log in and start your session.

Set up your account
Check your welcome email
After your account has been created, you will receive a welcome email from ARION. This email contains a temporary password that you’ll need to log in for the first time.
Log in and reset your password
Using the temporary password from the email, log in to the ARION Admin Dashboard (link in the email). Upon your first login, you will be asked to reset your password.
Note: Your Admin Dashboard login credentials are the same credentials you will use to access the ARIONHUB app.
Set up team roles and invite employees

Customize branding
Open the Admin Dashboard
Log in to your ARIONHUB Admin Dashboard: https://arionhub-admin.arion.run/
Navigate to the Themes tab. This is where you can customize the visual identity of the ARIONHUB app and Digital Flyer.
Customize your theme
Adjust your branding elements, including your logo, brand colors, fonts, and background images. Choose between a light or dark theme based on your brand’s style. Once you are happy with your design, click Save Theme. Select whether this is your light or dark theme and apply it to your store.
Apply branding in the ARIONHUB app
Open the ARIONHUB app settings. Search for ”dark mode”. Toggle it on or off depending on the theme you created. The app will automatically update to reflect your customized branding.
From now on, all Digital Flyers sent to customers will match your selected branding. A consistent look helps reinforce your brand even after the customer leaves the store.
Charge the pods
Before first use
Make sure your pods are fully charged before using them for the first time.
Charging the pods
Place both pods on the charger; they can be charged simultaneously. Charging indicator lights:
– Orange light: Pod is currently charging
– Green light: Pod is fully charged
Checking battery status in the ARIONHUB app
Open the ARIONHUB app and connect your pods. The battery level is shown under the pressure map in the app. A red battery indicator means that the battery is low. Please charge the pods before starting a session to avoid interruptions.

Select insoles
Choose the correct size
Use the size chart below to find the correct insole size based on the individual’s shoe size. If the individual is between two sizes, we recommend selecting the smaller size for a better fit.
Tip: The size chart is also included inside the ARIONHUB box for quick reference.

Identifying left and right insoles
The ARION Smart Insoles are left and right specific. To check if you have them correct, lay the insoles flat on the table. The size label should be visible on the top side. If not visible, please flip the insole to the other side.
Placing the insole in the shoe
Remove the original insole from the shoe. Insert the ARION Smart Insole into the shoe. Place the original insole on top of the ARION Smart Insole. The shoe is now ready for the customer to try on.
💡 If the original insole cannot be removed, place the ARION Smart Insole on top of the existing insole.
If you need to return items, please send them back to:

Connect via Bluetooth
Accept required permissions
First you will be asked to accept the Bluetooth permission. Secondly you will be asked to accept camera permission (used to scan the shoe barcode).
⚠️ Accepting both permissions is essential for the app to function correctly.

Pair pods via Bluetooth
When attaching the pods for the first time, you will receive a Bluetooth pairing pop-up for each pod. Accept and pair both pods before using them with a customer to ensure proper connectivity. Keep in mind that when you pair a pod to another iPad, you will have to accept the Bluetooth pairing pop-ups again.
⚠️ Only attach the pods to the insoles when you are on the ”Connecting” screen in the ARIONHUB app. This is the only screen where the app actively searches for pod connections.

Troubleshooting tip: Can’t connect the pods?
If you’re unable to connect the pods, there are two quick things you can check.
1. Check the ARIONHUB app permissions
Go to the iPad settings. Scroll down to apps or search for ARIONHUB and ensure that Bluetooth is enabled for the app.
2. Check the iPad Bluetooth settings
Go to Settings > Bluetooth. Look for registered pods in the list. If no pods are listed, the pop-ups were likely missed. Restart the process in the app and ensure all permissions are accepted.
Sometimes it can help to restart the process by removing all listed pods from the settings, so that the ARIONHUB-app gets triggered again when connecting pods for the first time. Click on the i icon for this to remove the pods from the list.

Conduct a (test) analysis
Customer onboarding
Open the ARIONHUB app. Choose the type of analysis: Running or Walking. Hand the iPad to the customer to fill in their details.
While the customer enters their info, prepare the testing shoes by inserting the ARION insoles.

Scan the shoe barcode
Use the app to scan the barcode of the shoe on the shoe box. This links the soe to the analysis for later reference. If the barcode is not recognised, you can upload a CSV file with the EAN code to the Admin Dashboard to manually add the shoe to the database.

Capture movement
Navigate to the ‘Connect ARION’ screen in the app. Attach the pods to the insoles only on this screen. Wait for the two blue feet to appear, confirming the connection. Once connected, the customer’s live pressure data will be visible on the screen.
Select the type of analysis you want to conduct: gait & video, gait only or video only. Instruct the customer to run 50 steps at their own running pace. A countdown bar at the top of the screen will show their progress. Once 50 steps are completed, the app will automatically process the session.

Testing multiple shoes
To test another pair of shoes, tap ‘add session’ in the app. Scan the new shoe’s barcode. Have the customer complete another 50-step run. The session will automatically be processed into the existing visit of the customer. Allowing you to compare multiple shoes side by side.
💡 Pro tip: Keep the pods connected throughout the entire visit. If switching shoes, leave the pods attached to the insoles to avoid reconnection delays.
Analyse data
Once the session is complete, navigate to the data analysis section within the ARIONHUB app. Begin reviewing the insights generated for the individual.
Review key takeaways
- Gaitline: Visualizes how the foot moves through each step. Identifies foot strike type (heel, midfoot, forefoot). Shows how the foot rolls inside the shoe (inward or outward). And reveals toe-off dynamics, or how the person pushes off the ground.
- Bioload: Indicates where the body is experiencing more or less physical load. Areas of high load are shown in deeper red. Helps identify uneven load distribution or potential stress points.
- Badge system: Calculated by ARION’s AI. Performance badge highlights the shoe that may improve efficiency and support goal achievement. Safety badge highlights the shoe that can help lower the risk of sustaining an injury.

Dive deeper with the ”Show over time” view
Compare metrics over the course of the session. Analyze the differences between the left and right foot. View detailed data for the gaitline, bioload and video simultaneously per step.

Share results
Share results with the customer
After you have gone through the analysis results with the customer, you can share the results with them to stay connected even after they have left the store. This provides an offline connection after their visit and lets them refer back to their personalized results anytime.
Ask the customer to enter the following information: their email address, their name, the shoe they purchased (if no shoe was purchased, they can select ”None”).

Customise the flyer
In your Admin Dashboard, you can personalize the digital flyer to reflect your brand:
- Upload your logo
- Choose your brand colors
- Set your preferred fonts
- Adjust other visual elements to maintain brand consistency
Add Promotional sections
You can add up to 4 promotional sections to the flyer that are fully customizable by you. These can include featured shoe sales, upcoming store events, loyalty programs, and any other promotions you want to highlight.
💡 Pro tip: Every time you send a digital flyer, you’re building your store’s database. This helps you better understand your customers and their running behavior, improve future recommendations and marketing efforts.
